When entering a new MX record, I do it via: My host / Host settings / + Add additional record
My host / Host settings / + Add additional record
For instance: Type: MX Priority: 10 Content: ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM
Type: MX Priority: 10 Content: ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM
And then: Add record
Add record
Returns with a different hostname, as for this case: MX: ea-in-x1a.1e100.net
MX: ea-in-x1a.1e100.net
The workaround I have found is to reenter/correct the hostname back to ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM and then Save changes
ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM
Save changes
