Triangle wave mislabled as "saw" #16

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Launch amSynth
2. Select 'saw' waveform
3. Hook up an oscilloscope and watch

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect a saw wave, instead I get a triangle

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
v1.2.3 on Arch Linux

Please provide any additional information below.
Regardless of the technicality, a 'true' saw wave, if added, would add a
standard waveform to the mix and allow better synthesis of things that generate
a complete harmonic series, such as recorders.

In the latest release this waveform is now labeled as "triangle/wave"

The oscillator shape control allows adjustment between the two.
