winpdb window does not include menu #17

1. Download latest winpdb 1.4.8
2. lounch winpdb (or winpdb.py - both do have same behaviour)
3. Window will appear, seems to be working properly, but it does not contain 
any menubar (see screenshot).

Versions used:
Python: 2.6.6
WxWindows: 2.8.11.0-0ubuntu4
WinPDB: 1.4.8 from WinPDB site, (applyes also for 1.4.6-2 from ubuntu 
repository)
OS: Ubuntu 10.10, x86_64

I have the same problem. Maximize the winpdb windows and put the mouse pointer 
over the legend Winpdb1.4.8 ....
