[SUGGESTION] Comparison/collaboration with NewPipe ? #510

Hi there, I've posted your app @ e forums and someone pointed me to NewPipe.

Some questions:

  1. how mutch it have in common with your app or, if nothing, what can be shared with ?
  2. do you plan to add more "author-friendly" video services (such as Vimeo that supports ALL CC licenses) ?

Nothing, Newpipe is a complete re implementation that doesn't use YT APIs at all, it scrubs their website and plays the videos directly, similarly to the YT Kodi addon. SYTV uses YT APIs, their old youtube.com/TV website.
