kick.com all audio muted on the pages #5

Ill try to post screenshots of my settings but all permissions are turned on it seems to only happen on kick all other sites have no issues after turning on permissions

also it seems disabling the plugin fixed it but turning it back on without refreshing the page the plugin is working on the site but refreshing the page requires me to disable it again and i can turn it back on and it works until i refresh the page

Hi, i have tested the extension myself on kick.com and it works without problems, even without permissions... Would you mind explaining what do you mean when you say that it doesn't work when you refresh the page with the extension enabled? Like, does the audio get completely muted or just not get boosted? the only odd thing i found is that after refreshing the page the stream audio gets muted automatically (you can re-enable it by just pressing the button), but this also happens with the extension disabled so i think it's more of a firefox thing.

I can disable the extension then refresh a page and have the extension back on and until i refresh that page it works fine on that page then it breaks again if i refresh it. im new to firefox

I'm sorry, but i can't seem to be able to reproduce this bug, so i have no way to fix it. You might want to try actually disabling the permissions, so that they get enabled only on click; that might fix it, at least on kick.com

it seems to be working now so i wonder if it was a bad gpu driver on nvidias end randomly i did DDU cause i felt like my other problem with games resizing randomly might be fixed with DDU. so after fresh installing the driver i thought it may have fixed this as well. not sure if that helps you in anyway for recommendations to other people. to try fresh installing GPU drivers with like DDU if they've recently updated the driver

I have no idea how would a bad gpu driver break a sound booster extension, but i mean, sure, at least it worked for you. I'm closing this issue as completed
