Original tags disappear when i use edit function instead of adding/removing tag function

There is a specific function for adding/removing tags (Adding/removing tag section in UG) but was the edit function meant to edit tags or was it meant of add/remove tags?

Previously there was a TA tag but when i type "edit 1 t/chicken" it overwrites EVERY single tag. Not sure if this was an intended function to purposefully replace all tags with the edit command...? Didn't mean to replace all my tags :-(

As the name edit suggests, edit should edit contacts, so it is expected.

Regarding adding or removing tags, there is a tag command for it, as specified in the User Guide.
