Feature Request: Recognize Transparency #13

Really like your App, but one thing which lets me not use it at this stage is transparency. ive transparency enabled on quite a few apps (with blur behind it). when ever i minimize with your effect enabled, the script first disables transparency and "sucks in" the window without tranparency behind it. so uve always the animation of your window diabling the transparency and then being sucked in. the magiclamp effect shipped with kwin respects transparency settings and doesnt change it while being active.

maybe u could copy and paste the part of the code responsible for this rule

Do you use an effect to make windows translucent?

ravid7 commented 4 years ago

Hii @zzag I'm having the same issue. The blur/translucent effect is what kde provides out of the box. When you enable translucent effect in terminal, it goes away and become transparent instead when you minimize the window.

This image is of transparency enabled terminal. Screenshot_20200307_012101

And this is when you minimize the window, Screenshot_20200307_012155 You can clearly see in the second image that the background is clearly visible.

zzag commented 4 years ago

@ravid7 the blur effect is not capable of blurring background behind transformed windows.

I have an opposite problem... Meaning, the blur is all the time, even before restoring the window, which shows an odd blurry area.
