How to receive message from other side , like G-mail chat #101

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I receive message using XMPPHP on gmail chat , but unable to response that very 
message using database.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

I am using XMPPHP-3 and OS-Windows-XP
