It would be nice to have an option to hide trees without any change in the report.

There are now two different descriptions for this feature:

READme: If the value is False and there is no changes, the email won't be sent)
hide trees without any change in the eMail

Both descriptions make sense and can be combined: If there are several trees and there are changes in some of them: send the email, but hide the trees without any change in the email. If there is no tree with a change, then do not send the email.
