Down Left is a big icon for "everything". And on the right side is a VERY big
status bar for health and xp. Kind of wasting space.
Why not steal ideas from other similar games? The health bar can be moved on
left top and made smaller. Also it can be made "transparent" (painted over the
normal background and not in a seperate area). XP bar the same on the right
side.
The menu doesn't have many options. Here would be enough space for:
Questlog
Stats (inkl. Level-Up)
Skills (hopefully in the future)
Magic/Spells (HOPEFULLY in the future)
etc.
Each option has it's own screen - no need for tabs. Changing through options is
easy with the menu button.
No problem to make the menu MUCH MORE bigger then now - game is in a kind of
pause-mode at this time. No need to see much of the "normal"screen".
Therefore inventory button and quick use slot (potions, meat etc.) in that
area, where the health bar is now. I know - this game is round based. so not
much need for quick healing like in arpg games. But taping through multiple
menues isn't comfortable.
... just my point of view ...
