• What did you work on this past iteration (2 weeks)?

1. More styling on checkout page, including order details section, as well as adding a credit card display.
2. Verification on payment part, including adding algorithms to all the payment details.
3. Fix the query bug associated with delivery option
4. Fix Delivery option drop down bug
5. Fix the warning bug associated with LabeledInput.

• What were any major issues/challenges you ran into?

1. Correcting the warning bug with LabeledInput took me a little bit time to figure out, because the bug is not consistent.

• what you would hypothetically work on if you were to continue on the project?

1. I would look into adding stripe payment
2. I would look into more styling on the checkout page
3. I would add more functionailites associated with checkout
4. I would potentially work on the order confirmation email, instead of sending all the order details, it can send back a link to our website that gives the order details.

1. What did you work on this past iteration?

• Edited styling on the product page and wishlist to make them responsive
• Made it so that you could only add reviews if you've ordered the item
• Added in-app notifications for various user actions such as adding something to your wishlist or adding reviews
• Refactored code on the product page to make it cleaner

2. What were any major issues/challenges you ran into?

• CSS issues trying to make the product and wishlist pages responsive
• Fixing a bug where clicking on a wishlist item wouldn't redirect users to its product page

3. What would you hypothetically work on if you were to continue on the project?

• Making the styling more appealing on the product and wishlist pages
• Allow options to alter product colour and sizes on the product page
• Help with creating an algorithm that would personalize product recommendations based on viewed/purchased products

Eshita Sharma cwl- (essharma) csid- (c4p2w) 1 . What work have you completed over the last two weeks?

• Made the website responsive by writing media queries for most of the components and added form validations by utilizing the yup resolver library for the sign-in/sign-up, user profile, and adding new product forms.
• The top dropdown's style was fixed, and the menu options were dynamically changed based on the users and admin who were currently logged in. Also, added an email share option on the product page.
• Fixed bugs related to log-out functionality due to recent changes and worked on fixing the bug while updating product quantity from the dashboard page's add to cart option.Additionally updated project read-me by adding the Above and beyond functionality section and added prototype for user profile screen.

2. What significant problems or difficulties did you run into?

   • I had some difficulties getting the form validations to function, but the Yup resolver's documentation really helped me solve those. Additionally, the link of the website with product sharing was not functioning because I was fetching it by using the windows location and pathname so my teammate helped me in switching to the hash router from the browser router to resolve the problem.

3. What work might you be doing for this project in the future?

   • Developing a personalized product recommendation algorithm based on user data .Working on adding pagination and making sure that deleting a product by Admin won't impact any previous orders in response to feedback from industrial judges. I also want to set up a mechanism for users to track their orders.

1. What you’ve worked on in the previous two weeks

• Added more images and product data to database
• Fixed router links issues and issues with text in search bar
• Modified the product card so that the user can click anywhere on the card to navigate to the details page
• Updated read-me: next steps, and some part of above and beyond functionality
• Made up images for the image gallery on the front page
• Code cleaning

2. What work might you be doing for this project in the future?

• Update the styles and fonts throughout the website
• Create a collection for filter categories in DB, and move the rendering from front end to the database
• Functionality-wise, adding an algorithm to recommend products to customers would be very nice
• Add pagination for the whole product list to save loading time

3. Where you might have gotten stuck during the last two weeks

• Modifying link redirections to product details page on the product card
• Changing browser router to hash routers, since links were not able to load properly on refresh or being copy and pasted
• For some state properties that were only supported by browser routers, trying to find a way to reuse them and eventually solved by using localStorage to keep the data consistency

What did you work on this past iteration?

• Created a reusable functional component for the 'Quantity' button that can be used across multiple pages (eg. product page, cart, etc.)
  • Attempted to make this responsive and to dynamically set it depending on the specific item using Redux
• Updated Cart page to take in dynamically set quantity and update pricing according to it
• Updated Cart/Order History page to be responsive
• Updated README so that it contained the information requested for Project Progress 6/Final showcase

What were any major issues/challenges you ran into?

• Trying to make the Quantity button's responsiveness/appearance on different pages look normal
• Ensuring the pricing also reflected the change in quantity in the cart

What would you hypothetically work on if you were to continue on the project?

• Continue to add better responsiveness to the Cart/Order History pages
• Use TensorFlowJS to make a better catered 'Related Items' list for each product but also to create a 'Recommended Products' section for the user
• Incorporate OpenAI as a chatbot to more easily help the user find what they want at any page across the website
