Hi there. If civs could be like technologies, how it does? Thanks.
Makiman83, think of them as branches. When going to the 3rd phase you get more than one choice: each unlocking some different (unique) units / technologies / buildings. That way they share their base art (and that saves a lot of work too)
Okey. I understand. Thanks.
I've btw, updated the list to it's current state
@niektb can you update the list. I think the Saxons are now in game.
@Jeeppler updated, Anglo-Saxons are in, not Saxons from Germania.
@tomasmatys yes, it should be Anglo-Saxons.
are any slavs faction coming? i dont see em here in the list :( RUS at least? 💃
@tallestdavid you can help with the research for the slavs factions. I would love to see some of them in the game.

cool :) well this is simplist info here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medieval_Russian_army#Tactics_and_equipment_2 low tier wore long aketons or Gambeson that was long second tier can be brigandine to late tier elite they can use plate and mail or MIRROR plate. for showing both after and before the Mongol tartar stuff.
The mod covers the 500-1100 period :S that's out of the timeframe :S Do you have other sources?
@tallestdavid I think the Kievan Rus' could be included. Then they could evolve into the Grand Duchy of Moscow in the second part of this mod.
@tallestdavid Furthermore, have a look at this forum topic: [Part II] Faction: Early Muscovite Russia.
@ghost @Jeeppler please, don't compare all East Slavs with Russia... Rus' and Russia are two separate entities and by following dumbly only one way (the easiest one) you just spread Russian propaganda. East Slavs region is quite complex topic and modern scholars still haven't found a compromise. This region consists of three modern nations nowadays like Ukraine, Belarus, Russia. A terminology Kyivan Rus' was coined and it's more proper to say Rus'.
If you follow how all principalities were evolving you will be surprised. Rus' was established at 882 AD but Grand Duchy of Moscow appeared at late XIII century so...
The first generation of Rus' rulers consists of Rurik dynasty (Varangians), so the outfits will look pretty close to Viking ones because they came to Rus' land during the Viking expansion. A pretty good example might be something like this:
@v9k8 no question, that this is a complex topic. I wanted to encourage @gohst to do more research instead of just posting a link to Wikipedia. Adding a new civ to Millennum A.D. requires research. Please have a look at the Millennium A.D forum: [Part II] Faction: Early Muscovite Russia to see the research which was done previously. In case you think another east slav civ should be included feel free to propose it either here or in the Millennium A.D. forum.
There is a website to find the civilisations. https://worldhist.org/ And a source of world history. https://www.worldhistory.org/
@GrimPixel nice map. I like the map a lot.
[EDIT] Civilization list as of 2020-07-17:
Millennium A.D. covers the AD 500–1000 timeframe, possible civilizations include:
