Objective: Enhance transparency and preempt potential misuse of community wallets by improving the display of payments made by these wallets.
Background:
A few weeks ago, I created an experimental offline data visualization on the Libra World site. This helped me understand the mechanisms and current status of community wallets.
Current Setup:
The Community Wallet table is currently on the Accounts page, alongside the Top Accounts table (accounts with the biggest balance).
The Top 100 Liquid Accounts table is currently on the Stats page.
Proposal:
Recreate the Community Wallets page to display essential identification data of community wallets.
Move the Community Wallet table from the Accounts page to the new Community Wallets page.
Include summary visualizations of payments, including pending, completed, and vetoed payments.
Move the Top 100 Liquid Accounts table from the Stats page to the Accounts page.
Benefits:
Allow community members to monitor community wallet transactions.
Increase understanding of community wallet operations.
Improve page organization by grouping related tables.
Future Enhancements:
When a network upgrade changes the process of adding authorities to a community wallet, this page will also display details about authority proposals and voting for adding or removing authorities.
