How to migrate from XPL to XPL Ex correctly and without unexpected bugs appearing later?

How correctly does XPL Ex restore settings from an XPL backup? Maybe there are some nuances that are worth knowing and taking into account when starting XPL Ex on a new device with a newer version of Android after restoring from a backup made in XPL on another device and on an older version of Android?

In theory nothing there should change , I have not touched those parts of code and the Pro app still remains the same as XPLEX does not support backing up or importing (right now) there for Pro application will be used.

If the Privacy collection is disabled, will it be automatically enabled when restoring from a backup made in the original XPL?

I mean maybe I have not checked, if it does just disable it :P wont hurt the system if it was enabled once.
