Any chance of getting the client updated? #30

Since a more recent version would fix https://github.com/WowLegacyCore/HermesProxy/issues/252

you can upgrade the client yourself by downloading 1.14.2 from wowdl.net and then changing the name of the folder to game-client. you will also need to change a line in the hermesproxy config file to add key="ClientBuild" value="42597"

I know, but I'm wondering why this isn't done directly in this launcher. Are there any drawbacks?

In terms of actually playing on everlook, no.

@0blu just out of curiosity - is it HermesProxy that doesn't support 1.14.2 on Mac yet?

HermesProxy supports 1.14.2 its my launcher that is not compatible. I am currently super busy. I will update the launcher including a new UI in two months.

wow that would be extremely awesome !!! <3 thanks so much for your work. incredible to play on private server with modern client using macbooks arm chips :D

Does the latest release enable using a more recent client like 1.14.2 on mac? Thanks for your work!

Unfortunately to add MacOs support for 1.14.2 I need to do some reverse engineering and I dont have the time for this currently. But dont worry I will add it in a couple of weeks.
