This is shown to the user when they first open the application. This differs from what is shown in the UG. "Similar to" was used to provide some deniability - but the biggest difference - the CourseMate detail panel being empty when the user first opens the application - is one that matters. It needs to be pointed out to the user that this panel (and hence the ## reference) is only usable after certain commands have been executed e.g. the edit command. This is to prevent them from using ## before it has been defined properly.
