Won't send email (keeps saying subject line did not match) #47

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
It's difficult to reproduce the issue as it only seems to occur to me. In
addition, no matter what I write in the subject line, it always reads "The
reason for this error was: 'Subject: [insert anything as the subject] did not
match.'

Below are the subject titles I have used.

1. [abuse]
2. abuse
3. abuse report
4. Abuse Report
5. Reporting MST
6. MST
7. Story Trouble

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I keep seeing the error message. 'Parsing Errors'. And it only says that the
subject, whatever it may be, did not match. I'm trying to send the message to
someone but it refuses to send it, the error occurs instead.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Using version 0.7.6. Using Windows 7 (64 Bit operating system). Also using
Google Chrome 23.0.1271.97 m.

Please provide any additional information below.
I have add-ons on. Such as AdBlock and Better Pop Up Blocker. I have disabled
the pop up one, but it still doesn't work. AdBlock shouldn't interfere with it
because I did send test messages to myself, which all worked (with time slot
added too). I have sent the first one, as the instructions read, and it worked
fine (subject line was the same as instructed). The other subjects was
'Testing1', 'Testing2', and 'Testing3', and they were all delivered to me fine.
It seems to not work when it's a different subject.

Hello abigfanofmostthings,

Sorry if this is redundant, but did you include the delimiter (eg. '--') and
the time that you wanted your email to be send (eg. 'now') in your subjects?

A valid subject line might be something like:
  abuse report -- now

When your email is sent, the recipient will only see the stuff before the '--'.
Everything after the '--' is interpreted as the date that you would like the
message to be sent.

Let me know if this solves your issues.
