@micchickenburger , I've added some modifications to the markdown editor/menu views.
I've also created a "/file-manager/" sidebar.
The file manager helpers & templates can be found in the /administration/ folder.
I've also corrected the hidden admin buttons you were experiencing.
I think this is all set to have markdown sections added elsewhere and content migrated.
