Yesterday i have setup first Tuya wifi cam and observed that the quality of the video is way lower than in the tuya app. Also very laggy and with delay approx. of 15s. Is there any additional steps that I could use to improve it? using latest version of the plug-in

this plugin is based on tuya platform api (public), which is different with tuya app api (private), I guess the quality and latency can't be solved by plugin side :(

I too similar the same issue. I was wondering if i purchase the premium cloud video streaming thing that tuya offers, do you think this will eliminate the issue? because it seems like the feed is pulled from the cloud, not locally

@ahmadnazirafiq I think purchase not working. I didn't see the quality params in the api, and haven't heard purchase will improve the quality...

Sorry to resurrect the topic. Actually Tuya plugin on Homeassistant solve the delay (accessing livestreaming takes 5sec instead of the 15sec via Homebridge). Yet, streaming is also low quality.
