What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open the preference page "Thematic grids".
2. Select a activated role in a grid.
3. Open the "Edit rule"-dialog and remove all characters.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
You can enter an empty value. This shouldn't be possible.
