different tagsets used by lexicon and guesser #2

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
The tagsets used by lexicon and guesser are not identical:

conjunctive
- for known words, the conjunctive is tagged "Konj", for unknown words
(GUESSER), it is tagged "Subj". Try "gehen" vs. "stoßseufzen".

proper nouns
- for known words, the tag for proper nouns is "NE", for unknown words
(GUESSER), it is "NPROP". Try "Mannheim" vs. "Bombodrom".

accusative case
- for known words, the tag for accusative is "Akk", for unknown words
(GUESSER), it is "Acc". Try "Betriebe" vs. "Potter".

What version of Morphisto are you using?

Everything observed on the "official" morphisto installation under http://

Thanks for the bug report. Unfortunately, the version of Morphisto developed
here
only encompasses the official release from the IDS Mannheim. It does not cover
the
guesser, which is a toy that made it only into the TextGrid version of
Morphisto.
