Concept

You ever come across some form of 'graph database' for note taking?

I hate linear/structured layouts for notes and concepts

I want to be able to arbitrarily link them, follow links, etc

Tagging is probably the closest concept i've found, but then it's often laid out linearly rather than being able to show the links between tags

I'd imagine it as sort of this visual 'universe layout' of connected notes/tags/concepts, that would allow you to easily visualise + drill down into finding things. So instead of looking up based on a text-based index or similar, you could look things up by their conceptual relatedness (which is how my brain tends to work)
