When connecting to a port data is printed again. #6

Serial device is currently sending no data but has sent some previously, so we have a few bytes stored. Click disconnect, then reconnect, the serial device is still not sending anything, but the stored data gets re-printed to the terminal. This is not intended. Please fix.

Tested, doesn't seem to be a thing. Maybe the bug existed in main but was inadvertently fixed in development.
