What is the strong motivation for Feature:Bonus?

Does any of the other features require the same kind of idioms already? Do we do enough joins?

As discussion continues, we (me and @ydupont ) think that the bonus feature may not be needed.

We have joins and multiple dimensions via age, gender, job roles, ...
