File rename fails when just changing letter case

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Open a new (or any) file
2. In the Book Browser, right-click on Section0001.xthml and select "rename"
3. Change the name to "section0001.xhtml" ... that is, just change the 
uppercase 'S' to a lowercase 's'.
4. Hit return and see the error message "The file could not be renamed".

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect that the file will get renamed using the lowercase 's'.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

0.3.4 on OS X 10.6.7.
