Changes to meta editor makes Sigill quit working #842

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Opened Sigil
2. Made changes to one of the book files
3. Open meta-editor
4. Previously when it worked, I was deleting some of the info in meta-
editor and had added a description Custom ID with the In Death Series.
5. When I started verifying all the information I had added in I decided I
didn't need the Custom ID so I removed it.
6. When I removed it and pressed ok, I get "Sigil.exe has stopped working A
problem caused the program to stop working. Windows will close the program and
notify you if a solution is available". When I reopen Sigil and open the same
fle again, Custom ID is still there.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect meta editor to delete the choice I added and close correctly.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I am running Windows7 64 bit Home Premium version and using Sigil Windows
Version 0.3.4-setup. This is the version where the problem first occurred. I
uninstalled Sigil and reinstalled it with Sigil version Windows 0.3.4b for 64
bit running when the problem occurred. On a separate laptop using Windows7 32
bit Home Premium version and using Sigil Windows 0.3.4 for 32 bit I had the
same results.

There is no CustomID in the new betas (now you can change the identifier in the
OPF directly), so I think this is now obsolete.
