Sending content from one WordPress to another, we have noticed that the images in the destination are saved with an absolute URL #1278

Describe the bug

we are sending content from our content hub using Distributor, the plugin you recommended, but we’ve encountered an issue. The images from the media library are not being saved in the destination’s media library. Instead, an absolute URL is shown, despite the settings being configured for the images to be saved. Could you let us know why this might be happening?

Steps to Reproduce

First, we distributed the content from the source to the destination, which was done correctly. Second, we started formatting the content. Third, we tried to change one of the images, and that’s when we noticed the problem

Perhaps related to #1262.

Hi everyone any update about that? Or one alternative to solve it? Thanks!

hi @jeffpaul the images attached to the post do get saved to the media library correctly (understanding this only works for the images attached to the post) but the URL in the content doesn't get updated and remains pointing to the external source.
