right click:

with lattice plots, use trellis.vpname and test click inside:
"panel" +col +row
"strip" +col +row (and "strip.left")
"main", "sub", "xlab", "ylab"
"legend" +side
otherwise: maybe xaxis / yaxis

for base graphics:
maybe "main" if above plot / "yaxis" if left of plot" / "xaxis" if below
plot...
