@bobmonsour Is that https://github.com/bobmonsour/smt_11ty repo private? I was getting a 404 error when clicking the link.

bobmonsour commented 2 years ago

Ooops. Just made it public. Nothing to hide. Thanks for letting me know.

pdehaan commented 2 years ago

Thanks @bobmonsour

No problem. I just really enjoy reading other people's .eleventy.js config files and seeing how people build stuff. ❤️

bobmonsour commented 2 years ago

I do too @pdehaan. Mine are still evolving.

Alright @zachleat…

Per the logs:

Run zachleat/github-issue-to-json-file@v4.0.0
About to cleanup URL:  { entry: 'https://www.scottmurphytennis.net/' }
Error: request to https://scottmurphytennis.net/ failed, reason: getaddrinfo ENOTFOUND scottmurphytennis.net

Original link seems to be https://www.scottmurphytennis.net/ (which works fine), but something in the plumbing is trying to normalize the URL and remove the www. subdomain (https://scottmurphytennis.net/), which does NOT work and throws a 404. Looks like it might be an issue w/ the GitHub Action?

bobmonsour commented 2 years ago

Netlify is supposed to redirect this to the www domain. I hate to see Zach waste time on this. He's got a lot more important things to do. I have no problem just closing this and not having it listed as one of my 11ty sites. It's an old Wordpress-toJekyll-to11ty conversion. It works, but it's no showcase site.

pdehaan commented 2 years ago

I'm going to keep this open. I am pretty sure it's a bug in the GitHub Action that needs to be fixed since we seem to be over-normalizing a URL somewhere and this will probably affect future sites as well. ❤️

Ok. Got it. Thanks.
