Range 11 - Basic A/G Range

After some study and testing of the "Basic A/G Range", here are my findings:

Range size and location:

• the range is slightly too small, especially given the fact that all the targets are located on the SE part of the range. We can not use the S and E parts of the range if we want to set-up 1 minutes legs from IP to TGT. Therefore I suggest moving the range borders to the S and E (about 3 to 5 Nm).

Therefore I propose modifying the range like this:

• the range is not representative of the landcape where we'll find our tarets, since it's along the shore. It's impossible to set up a full pattern over land. Therefore I suggest either creating another range on land, or adding practise targets over land somewhere on another existing range (e.g. southern A/G range).

Range layout:

• overall, targete location is fine.
• both strafing panels should be turned around by 180°. In the current layout, the final attack tracks are crossing each other, and when egressing on western target, we must overfly the other strafing panels. This means that it is impossible to use both strafing targets simultaneousely. There is a small hill on the north of W strafing panels, but it's no an issue for the left egress manoeuver.

I suggest using the range in the following way:

• S part dedicated to strafing patterns
• N part dedicated to bombing patterns In this way, bombing and strafing can be done simultaneousely (bombing on N circle and strafing on E panels).

Proposed patterns:

N bombing circle

• very easy IP and 4,5 Nm visual references (islands)

S bombing circle

• very easy IP (island), the land mass gives a very easy cue to get lined up along initial attack heading, mountains give a good opportunity to work target acquisition for low level LASER attacks, and egress trajectory is very easy (lots of visual references) and very beautiful.

W strafing panels

• remarks are valid if targets are turned around by 180°
• the long pattern is above the ocean, so no visual reference. The short pattern can use visual references.
• the left egress is above a small hill, this is not a NO GO, but a heads up is necessary.

E strafing panels

• remarks are valid if targets are turned around by 180°
• only one pattern can be made, because of the very high mountains on the other side
• very easy IP and visual references everywhere

All in all, here is the overview of all the proposed patterns:

Entry/exit: Here is a proposal of entry/exit points: NE corner might be used both for entry and exit.

Would like to try it for hog practices as well, flying tighter patterns at lower altitudes. When able pls share a miz with adjusted pits.

Great work! Range is expanded in latest version. Also, strafe panels are turned around 180 degrees. I have also requested help from Entropy for implementing the range script in order to get the scoring from the strafe panels and bombing circles.
