Hibernation with hibernatemode = 25 #4

Seems like with my current EFI, the hibernate mode works well with value 25, which means it can maximize battery runtime, but it does so by taking longer to enter hibernation mode and to wake up. If you want to try, run this command in Terminal:

sudo pmset -a hibernatemode 25

Hi,

Is your S3 sleep/wake function as quick and speedy like in Windows 10/11? Currently it takes about 10-15+ secs to fully enter sleep state in macOS 12 whereas it takes hardly 5 secs to enter and exit S3 sleep on Windows. I'm too using similar sleep and wake patches like yours. specs: Dell Inspiron 5570 Skylake

Thanks for you response. Hibernation works as intended too so that's good. Power loss on S3 sleep is pretty amazing too, ~1.5% every hour. However my device takes ~15 seconds to enter sleep state, wake is pretty quick and snappy tho, is this normal behavior for macOS? Does sleep take that long?

Update 30 Mar: Currently mode 25 doesn't work with Clover, I don't know why... Mode 3 is still ok.
