Anyone who has gotten an API key
- Note the major users of the API, re: Hits
David Holmes from USDS has done some hacking on ED data and would be good to interview
Ask the College Scorecard team who they used for their private beta and any wider comms

It'd be good to next have a chat with the USDS and College Scorecard teams about this.

Alright - from api.data.gov, we've got the list of 79 developers who've used the API in the past month. 10 of them have had more than 1k hits and might be the best place to start. The full list (and those from earlier months) would be place to engage.

I've gotten in touch with David about chatting later and asked the College Scorecard team for their takeaways from their private beta.

I think this covers the 'identify the existing community` part pretty well.
