As a engineer on the data federation team, I want to understand the existing code base so that I can maintain and add features.

I am using this to document what I learn from the code, such as the data flow, screen flow, how it was designed, what may be missing

Documentation is sufficient for now. Will add to it as I learn more through developing and maintaining the codebase.
