Scheduled Messages for Onboarding #207

Hello, My name is Matthew Newman. I work for Abbott Laboratories. I am exploring options for an onboarding bot for our new managers. I signed for GitHub with personal account. I would love to see the scheduled messages for new 18F for the first month. How can I see this list? Thank you. msjanew@aol.com

Hi Matthew! The bot code does not include the database of messages to employees, just the ability to send messages over a period of days/weeks based on an employee's start date.

While we do not have a database to share with you, our employee handbook is open source, which might be a good guide for topics to cover in your messages: https://handbook.18f.gov/

Thanks very much for responding. This is helpful Can you tell me if other companies are leveraging your bot code and customizing it to meet their onboarding needs? Are there any good case studies I can refer to?

Hi Matt -- no case studies. Various parties have expressed interest, but since it's open source we don't really know who is using it.
