I understand this is a speculative suggestion, and I respect the user research process, but I wanted to at least report my reaction to the comment form header.
This seems heavy:
The (lengthy, in this case) section description is repeated in bold header form twice, with an extremely similar piece of text. The only difference is what form the sentence is in. The top is a description ("You are writing about") and the bottom is a command ("Write your response to").
I suggest axing the top header, and moving the bottom header to be the new top header. I think this would be a clearer, friendlier setting to introduce the comment form to your users.
