User story

As a person seeking to better understand the single audit process, I want a list of grant recipients who are subject to the single audit process so that I can plan to reach out to them.

Acceptance criteria

• [ ] List of "top candidates" or, if more feasible, an actionable overview

Implementation notes

• "Single audit grantees" here refers to U.S.-based grant recipients whose expenditures meet or exceed $750,000. (See "Outstanding questions" for caveats.)
• All else being equal, we'll prioritize these based on feasibility, as determined by 1) existence of previous contact with granting agency or grantee and 2) geographical proximity to this project's participants, in that order.

• Expenditures per grant, per agency, or overall?
• Not all types of grant recipients (entities) are eligible for single audit; which types are exempt?

I searched usaspending.gov (thanks!) and got 92,748 'grants' results for FY 2018, All Grants (award type), $750k & Above (award amount), then filtered those by specific awarding agencies and locations.
