Make main page pagination more user-friendly #50

This includes several sub-issues:

[ ] Clicking the ... should should show additional pages in that direction
[x] The current page should be highlighted in the list
[ ] The URL should include a query for the page

@allalala actually no, this isn't. The changes I made were mostly cosmetic, so the other two still need work. Unfortunately I didn't see this (just referencing the trello), so I didn't attend to it. I can address this as a separate issue.
