Revamp landing page #178

Right now, the landing page includes the first Jekyll "post", as I'd originally thought it'd be a place to post announcements. Now, I'm thinking we could make better use of the space.

Thoughts? Ideas? Pull requests? ;-)

Hmm. Five most recently updated sections? If you have five minutes, please add to these posts? Profile of someone and their tool usage? Local weather? Estimated drive home? Public transit alerts geofenced to your location?

How about a randomly featured project or a spotlight on a project that celebrated a recent milestone or status change (e.g., alpha to beta)? It's hard to keep track of everything happening around 18F.

Or...show any team member who's having a birthday?
