Small business would recommend longer contractual period to be able to recruit and retain top performing talent on the contract.

Our periods of performance reflect the principles of modular contracting and immediate software development needs of our agency partners. We understand that this may impact vendor staffing plans and hope that the potential opportunity for future opportunities with 18F engagements will alleviate small business concerns.
