Question/Comment

a. Does the Forest Service require Scrum certifications for project managers? b. In terms of Open-source logins/authentication services, do you want Facebook login, google login, etc.? Can you be specific on which services you are looking for? c. Can the Forest service differentiate between sketching and wireframing? We see these as similar things.

a. No. The government will expect Project Managers to have experience running agile teams.

b. We currently authenticate using USDA’s SAML-based eAuth, and login.gov using OIDC. We do not expect additional authentication service integration, but expect “proposed personnel must have a strong technical experience base” in open-source login/authentication services.

c. A wireframe is a representation of elements on a screen, akin to UI schematic or blueprint, and is a specific type of “sketch.” Sketching is a broader term generally applied to using visual representations to communicate design concepts or represent the user's experience. “Sketching” includes wireframes, but additional types of artifacts that can also be part of the design process (for example, storyboards).
