Will the final RFP provide the scope or number or variety of permit systems 18F hopes to integrate through this procurement? We understand there are more than 140 national forests, but what we don't understand is the number of special permits and permit types.

This goal of this procurement is to extend the Special Use module (which includes permits for Outfitters and Guides as well as for Non-commercial Use) to allow for more Forests to make use of the app. Additional permit types would be added only if they don’t significantly complicate the existing workflows. A requirement of the procurement is that any work done to extend the module is backwards compatible with the existing Christmas Tree permit module.
