Difficulties when accessing email via Citrix #3

[5:20 PM] awong: So, if you access gov email via Citrix, very often cut/paste is disabled.

[5:20 PM] awong: Not too unoften, the "open in browser" intent is also disabled.

[5:20 PM] awong: That means the friendly "click this link" to login gets really hard to use.

[5:21 PM] awong: Esp if your browser is running on your local machine but your email is via citrix. You have to resort to retrying the URL manually

[5:27 PM] awong: which gets even more fun because outlook will not display the URL behind the "Connect to MyUSA" link.

[5:28 PM] awong: So you have to copy the link. Paste into an e-mail. right click on it. Select Edit Hyperlink. Copy the URL there. Past it back out. and Manually remove the extra %3c and %3b on the front/end where outlook inserted >< otherwise you break the auth token.

Basically, the UX doesn't work when an org's security setup partitions your browser session from your e-mail viewer.
