Why: As a product designer, I want to know what is our responsibility in accessibility that goes beyond color contrast, i.e. should product designers include tab order and alt text within design deliverables?
Scenario:
When we design screens and pages, especially forms, how are we considering tab order experience? Are we explicating calling out to developers?
When we design illustrations, icons, images, etc., are we collaborating with content strategists/designers to set a standard about what is informative or what is decorative? How do we all ensure that people who use screen readers have a good experience listening to what is read?
How:
Have a conversation with proddee team in future huddles
Identify what we would like to do next
Consider updating our practice in the proddee wiki to reflect the latest consensus
