What visual design has been done on the prototype? What needs exist around visual design?

The majority of visual design decisions, including the usage US Web Design System and fundamental information architecture choices like reorganizing sections of the form into the current side-bar navigation, were made earlier in the product's 2 year history. eApp has new visual design questions including the prospect of communication between applicants and agency administrative users that 18F has conducted an initial round of research, testing, and interface prototyping. The awarded vendor will be expected to continue that work and conduct further iterative development and testing on that concept and others that may be prioritized by the government product owner. The government will provide any relevant visual design materials to the awarded team.
