Motivated by this article, which got me to stop using the more common form.

@mogul, we did a lot of user testing of this handbook (especially in June and July, hence the enormous changes since your PR), and a clear response from our target audience is that we needed to keep everything really simple. Whenever possible, we have eliminated nuance or gray area, since this isn't a guide for people who are going to be practicing agile, but for people who are at least two steps removed from people who will be practicing agile. Your suggestion is good and right, but not right for this audience. I appreciate it, though!
