Name and affiliation

Vikesh Chauhan DevOps Manager Optimal Solutions Group Vikesh Chauhan, M.I.M., is a Development Security Operations Manager, and is the team lead for database development. He has seven years of experience in supporting government agencies and commercial companies. He is experienced with the CMS XLC Framework, NIST, FedRAMP, Agile and Section 508 guidelines in addition to experience in obtaining CMS and other government agency authorization-to-operate approvals. Vikesh has access to several CMS systems including the Integrated Data Repository and the Enterprise Portal, he has a Public Trust clearance and frequently coordinates with CMS contractors regarding Optimal applications. He also participates in CMS technical review boards, security audits and leads communications with CMS regarding systems and applications. He is experienced in database development, systems design, application development, the use of business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Microsoft BI, Tibco SpotFire. He is the liaison with Optimal's IT and risk committees for all systems monitoring and reporting. He has worked with CMS' AWS environment, IBM Softlayer, Azure and other cloud service providers. Vikesh has provided database, application and systems development on several CMS contracts such as the CMMI Learning System and Data Management Data Management and Reporting System contract and the Medicare Ombudsmen Group support contract in addition to projects with ED, USAID and the SBA. He has completed HIPAA, privacy and security training for CMS and other agencies.

Q. Regarding code submission, our firm has partially scrambled our code and/or it is proprietary. How much does GSA need to see in order to assess its quality and effectiveness? For instance, does GSA need a full project and/or functionality?
