Text selection disappears when typing `:` #189

I was trying to use the google translate bookmarklet that translates selected text into english. It works when I select text and then click on the bookmarklet in the Bookmark Bar.

If I try to do the same from cVim it does not work. If I select the text and then type : to get to the command line the text selection vanishes, so it is impossible to use the bookmarklet properly.

Unfortunately, this is a problem with Webkit and not something that is easily fixable. Once you click on or start editing input elements, the text you selected will be deselected. Try selecting some text and clicking on an input element and the same thing will happen.
