Description:

In order to prepare for our first merges and inevitable git conflicts, we need a couple of you to read up on git. This is to make sure that no problems arise and our deployment goes as smooth as possible.

Checklist:

• [ ] If you're completely new to git:
  • [ ] Start by reading chapter 2
• [ ] If you're familiar with git basics (undoing things, tagging, setting up a repo, recording change to repo, aliases):
  • [ ] Read chapter 3 here and chapter 5 here
• [ ] Then, read up on github

Make sure if you skip the basics, you are comfortable explaining any of the listed topics to the entire group

• [ ] Be prepared to explain to members who don't understand
