Contacts saved as hidden and not belonging to any addressbook #57

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Look for a contact in GAL
2. Option: 'save contact', select Exchange account
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
A list of available mail accounts is displayed when saving contact.
I select the one corresponding to my exchange account

Contact is saved with hidden attribute (not displayed in contact list by
default), and contact is not synced back with exchange contact list.

What version of the product are you using?
version 13

What version of Android are you running?
Android 2.1 (motorola Defy)

What version of Exchange are you connecting to?
Exchange 2007 SP3

Please provide any additional information below.
When displaying my contact list, those added by Corporate AddressBook are not
displayed.
I have to change my settings to list 'hidden' contacts.
Within hidden contact list, I can see all my contacts added with Corporate
AddressBook.

Contact added are not belonging to any of my mail accounts: when trying to
delete one of this contact, a list of accounts where the contact is recorded is
displayed.
When deleting a contact added by Corporate AddressBook, this list is empty. It
seems the contact is not saved at the right place.
As result, contact is never synced back to my Exchange contact list.

Additional info:
When trying to delete a contact coming from my exchange contact list, the
Exchange account is correctly listed.
When trying to delete a contact added manually on the phone, all mail accounts
are listed.

Hi there

Thank you for using my app, and reporting this bug. I will look into this issue
and see if I can reproduce it. Maybe there is a setting I am missing in the
Save option. I will keep you informed. Again, thank you.

Regards
Vivek
