Heavy Screen tear in V1 #192

When Mercs are moving, i get heavy screen tears as i move my cursor in Tactical. When mercs are stationary i have no screen tears. Could anyone know a fix for this? resolution or vsync related, ini editor?

Try to

set the resolution with IniEditor (save)
run cnc-ddraw_config.exe in mainfolder
adjust graphic settings in there
for screen tearing, that might be related to the fps settings
adjust the fps rate in cnc-ddraw config.exe until you get a desireable result
if that don't work, there is also a "activate vsync" slider in cnc-ddraw, try that to see if it's helpfull
and there are other sliders for preventing stuttering and such that may can be usefull for your issue

I got the same issue and it seems to be strictly related to your resolution. Unfortunately, none of these fixes listed here do anything since the graphics were never meant to be viewed in higher resolutions then vanila game, as far as I know of
